A former customer, Holly joined the Ocean Sky Beads team in 2009. She grew up in Chicago and has been a California resident for almost 6 years. Some of her earliest childhood memories are of making jewelry with her grandmother. As a teenager, unsatisfied with the jewelry she found in stores, she would take unwearable pieces apart and re-create them to her liking.
 
Once Holly moved to California, she began using the laid back southern California vibe as her inspiration. The focus on simple, earthy design means the pieces are perfect for either a day at the beach, or a night out to dinner. Whether it's a leather beaded wrap bracelet, a macramed silk bracelet, or an earthy, bohemian fringed beaded necklace, you can be sure to find her creations unique!
 
Having never taught jewelry-making before joining OceanSky Beads, she quickly found her niche. "One of my greatest rewards in teaching is seeing my students' passion for their new hobby. I'm constantly inspired by my students and their designs."
 
Holly's love of scouring fashion and design blogs is evident in her work as she is constantly striving to keep ahead of the latest trends. Her fun, easy, classes are a blend of great design and what all the Hollywood fashion icons are wearing.
